Expect is a registered charity providing quality health and social care services based in Sefton, Merseyside that has been operating for 25 years
Expect is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as a domiciliary and residential service, providing a range of services for people living with mental illness and/ or learning disabilities. We uphold a strong community approach and focus the efforts of highly trained, motivated staff on supporting some of the most isolated individuals in the community. Expect is a charity that emphasises the benefits of inclusion and social integration, operating an alternative approach to institutionalised care and support. Expect manages the operation of housing projects such as supported living provision, registered care homes and community outreach services in order to provide appropriate levels of support, in an appropriate lifestyle context to best support each individual we work with. In addition to this Expect operates a comprehensive day service support/ community facility called ‘The Bowersdale Centre’ in Seaforth. The charity works alongside other voluntary, community and charitable organisations from this hub facility to develop service provision for the maximum amount of people who we can help.
