The Orrell Trust
Charitable Company Ltd by Guarantee
Charity number: 1096549
Company number: 4425137
The Orrell Trust is a small charity, working in Bootle and surrounding areas, committed to improving our local community to make it a better place to live. Our bright, modern, well-equipped base provides a sustainable community facility in an area of deprivation and disadvantage which encourages community cohesion and benefits individuals and the wider community.
The Orrell Trust is committed to working to improve our local community to make it a better place to live. We are a small grassroots charity and have been in Bootle since 2002.
In 2015 the new St John and St James Church and Community Centre opened and become the home of The Orrell Trust. We have worked closely alongside the church to help develop their new community centre and activities that are delivered from it.
Our Aims are to support vulnerable and isolated people and develop projects to engage children, young people and families. We want to encourage community cohesion and engagement by delivering projects that appeal to a wide sector of our community. We work in collaboration with our partners such as local Primary School delivering joint projects that achieve positive outcomes benefiting the whole community.
Our three main areas of focus are:
Developing work with Older people
Community cohesion
Developing work with children, young people and families.
