8. COMMUNITY SUPPORT
Due to Sefton MBC funding, LYCC has one member of staff employed to lead and develop our Community Support and Health and Wellbeing, across all sessions per week = approx. 20 hours.
The past 12-18 months have proven more than ever that need for this role, to coordinate and manage all external support LYCC gives such as emergency food relief, partnership work with our local ward councillors, supporting our local schools and members and families of LYCC.
To develop LYCC Community Support through already existing projects and new ideas and projects in line with community need. Working in partnership with our residents, schools, and other partner organisations to provide support that in turn increase our community health and wellbeing. Along with providing support to our local primary school and other local community organisations and charities.
