Gardens
Our Garden’s allow us to provide an outside space for the babies to get out in the nice weather during the summer months. It is important for us to have this, especially if a baby is with us for longer periods of time. We have two gardens, and the first has a patio and a summer house to allow for play and sitting outside to eat together. The summer house is designed as a gingerbread house, and so it can be used for various different activities. During the winter we have even turned this into a grotto to provide some Christmas fun for the babies. Our other garden is a sensory garden to encourage sensory development. It contains lots of different play activities, and also has a swing set, which can be adapted so that children who are in wheelchairs can also enjoy playing on them.
