Bowls
The U3A bowling group meets at the bowling green in Formby Park during the March-October bowling season. Beginners and/or experienced players are most welcome to join. Introductory tuition is available for absolute beginners. A small number of bowls and jacks are available for loan. The green is a public facility so there is a green fee of £30 per person, per season, payable to Sefton Council, or a weekly payment of £2.50 if preferred.
