North West Lupus Support
The North West Lupus Group is the largest regional group of Lupus UK both in terms of the number of members and also the geographical area we cover. We have over 500 members living in Lancashire, Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Cumbria, Merseyside and the SK postcodes of Derbyshire.
As a part of Lupus UK, we promote awareness of Lupus to the medical profession and the general public.
We are here to support patients and their families and provide them with information publications from National Office.
We also have several informal coffee and chat groups around the region, where patients and their family and friends can meet with others affected by Lupus. Sometimes the conversation isn’t related to Lupus at all, but people enjoy being able to get out and meet other people who understand what they are going through. Most people find sharing their experiences and how they cope day to day is very valuable.
