We Grow Co
Based in Churchtown Southport, WeGrow is an award winning social enterprise which grows and sells vegetables without use of chemicals or pesticides through our onsite farm shop and a veg bag delivery scheme. We are also proud keepers of bees and of free range chickens producing beautiful golden yolk eggs.
We reduce our impact on the environment by harvesting rainwater, making our own natural liquid plant food and composting. A section of our site is given over to encouraging and supporting local wildlife and encouraging bio-diversity and includes a large pond, bug hotel and native planting.
We also help support work placement and training opportunities for autistic people. People with autism can learn and develop and we support this process every single day through the provision of placements tailored to meet the needs of each person who uses our service. We create unique opportunities for autistic people to enable them to have ownership of their own lives and futures.
