With the job market constantly changing, we understand thinking about searching for a job, finding steady employment or quality training can be overwhelming and scary. Thankfully, Sefton@Work has been supporting Sefton residents and families like yours for 20 years, to enter the workforce or pursue training opportunities. Our free service is designed to support and help everyone, not just people who are job ready. This includes:
People that have complex barriers to employment
People who have limited or no work history
People who are accessing support from other services
By registering with us, you and your family can access an abundance of resources and expertise to help you on the path to success. FOR INDIVIDUALS:
Information, advice & guidance on all aspects of jobs, education and training
Face to face or virtual online appointments
Help with CV's, application forms, cover letters and more
Latest job vacancies and information on recruitment initiatives
Advice and tips on interview techniques and skills
One to one confidential support and guidance on issues such as:
Benefit changes
Rent arrears
Utility debt
Money worries
Housing
We can speak on your behalf to other services including:
DWP
Social landlords
Private landlords
Housing Support Agencies
FOR EMPLOYERS
We offer a free bespoke recruitment service
Advertise your vacancies
Manage your applications
Pre-screen applicants
Introduce you to local residents who are looking for work
We work across the entire borough of Sefton and are happy to meet at locations that suit your needs. We also deliver outreach in a variety of places, including Sefton job centres, Wellbeing Centres, Sefton Community Learning Service and you’ll be guaranteed a warm welcome if you call into one of our offices:
