Practice Makes Perfect was formed to provide people in the Southport area with the opportunity to develop communication skills in a friendly informal atmosphere.
We are pleased to work in association with the Children’s University.
The aims of the organisation are:
to introduce the concept of sign language and fingerspelling to hearing, hard of hearing, deaf and deaf-blind people;
to reduce frustration and isolation;
to improve general communication skills;
to raise awareness of deaf awareness and lipreading skills;
to provide informal opportunities for the learning and practice of sign language.
