The Merseyside Branch of the Motor Neurone Disease Association has the sole aim of serving all those people in the area affected by Motor Neurone Disease (or MND). This includes people with MND, carers, family and friends.
MND is an incurable condition that paralyses the muscles leaving people unable to do everyday things the rest of us take for granted. Walking, talking and swallowing become virtually impossible yet the mind and senses remain intact.
