MSDP exists to support, promote and advance the quality of life for all deaf, deaf-blind and hard of hearing people. Services are delivered from two centres in Liverpool and Wirral and surgeries are held in other geographical locations.The Society provides a range of statutory services for three local authorities (Liverpool, Sefton & Wirral), is the recognised accredited training centre for British sign language and is able to provide sign language interpreters.. As well as sign language training, MSDP provide comprehensive equality and diversity training and customised (BSL) information service. The society operate an OFSTED approved and Investors in Children accredited children and families service. MSDP is the host to a number of other community groups.
