Merseyside Dance Initiative (or MDI) is one of the UK’s leading strategic dance agencies whose mission is to inspire people through dance. From our Liverpool base we work with partners to create a healthy and vibrant infrastructure for dance.
We support dance artists through a professional development programme, offering information, free studio time, regular dance intensives and opportunities for freelance work in educational, corporate and community settings.
