Groundwork began in Merseyside back in 1981 and since then has played a major part in local regeneration.
Groundwork is the local community charity with a green heart. We are committed to changing places and changing lives in the areas that need it most.
We're passionate about helping people reach their potential and committed to creating better places with a greener future.
We're one of around thirty Groundwork Trusts that work across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
We provide services and develop initiatives across four main themes:

Sustainable Communities
We work across Cheshire, the west of Lancashire and Merseyside, covering towns and cities such as Birkenhead, Blackpool, Chester, Knowsley, Lancaster, Liverpool, Macclesfield, Preston, St Helens, Warrington and Wigan.
