All parents and carers are automatically members of Friends of Woodlands School Association (or FOWSA). The objectives of FOWSA are to engage in activities, provide facilities, provide equipment and support the advancement of education of the pupils and to develop effective relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school.
FOWSA regularly organise social activities including children's discos, summer fair, Christmas event, family nights, bbq and others. In the last school year we raised just under £5,000. We made a donation of over £5,000 towards the extension to the Junior trim trail.
