Our award-winning building in Liverpool, which opened in 2003, has two large art galleries, three cinemas, a media and events space, a lab for learning and experimentation, a café and a bar.
We believe that by providing spaces for people, art and technology to meet we can nurture and develop innovative minds, inspire creativity, support emergent talent and transform people’s lives.
Nurturing artistic practice is central to our mission. Each year, we support, commission and work with dozens of artists, offering career-enhancing opportunities to develop and show new work and to collaborate and engage with scientists, technologists, radical thinkers and Liverpool communities to create new art and explore ideas. Our Learning programmes offer deep participatory engagements for young people and adults from Liverpool city region, providing pathways into our talent development programme.
