Shoebox Express® began as a small not-for-profit initiative 10 years ago at Formby Methodist Church. Since 2007 we have been actively growing the project, chipping away at barriers to participation and gaining the support of our local communities. In 2019 we had a hand in the production of 1860 Christmas shoeboxes for children in need across Europe, Central Asia and Africa. At the end of 2017 we became an officially-recognised charity.
Our aim is to maximise the number of Christmas shoeboxes produced by making the process simple, fun and inexpensive for those in our local community. News about Shoebox Express® is spreading!
