The Crosby Capriol Singers perform seasonal concerts with a varied programme throughout the year. In addition we are frequently asked to sing at local events, weddings and celebrations. We have recently held concerts in Sefton Park Palm House, the Royal Liver Building, the Metropolitan Cathedral and have sung on BBCs Songs of Praise. This season we have raised funds for "Children With Cancer "by carol singing in Liverpool One and taken part in a promotion for Arriva Buses.
The Society was started in 1960 under our founder Gerald Brown and we are still going strong. We are now led by Richard Pomfret. We invite local young soloists and professionals to perform with us. Our repertoire ranges from 16th Century works to those of living composers and covers popular works.
