Halewood is situated in the south of the Metropolitan Borough of Knowsley, Merseyside.
The University of the Third Age (U3A) is a nationwide organization based on local groups providing opportunities for retired and semi retired people to meet together and develop their interests.
Halewood U3A was founded in 1996 and is one of the smaller U3As. At present we have 125 members. We are building up our interest groups where members come together to share knowledge and experience. There are learning opportunities as well as outdoor activities and social events.
