Meols (Southport) U3A
Meols (Southport) U3A is a small, friendly U3A founded in 1997. As of January 2024, we have over 145 members. New members are always welcome. Our annual subscription is £15. We currently have over 25 interest groups and are in the process of setting up several new groups. If anyone has any ideas for new groups, not necessarily to run them, please feel free to make suggestions to any committee member.
In addition to the interest groups, we have a meeting at 10.15am on the 3rd Friday of every month which is attended on average by half the members. There is usually a speaker as well as being able to have a chat and socialise; this takes place at Christ Church, Lord Street, Southport. You are welcome to come along to the meetings for just a £1 contribution, which is returned if you decide to join.
