The Brighter Living Partnership is a healthy living centre based in Southport. Fundamental to our success is the strong, dynamic partnerships we create and utilise between ourselves and other organisations. We are delighted to say that we have many active partners that we work with to improve the health and wellbeing of people living in the Southport and Formby areas.
Currently, we offer individual health and wellbeing appointments to local residents who want to improve their health. We offer regular one-to-one and group support sessions as well as access to other valuable local services including mental health, housing and employment services. We have a particular focus on healthy eating, offering a range of cookery courses and weight management initiatives. We also have a diverse range of courses and activities to promote social inclusion which include a weekly lunch club and film club.
The strategic objectives of the Brighter Living Partnership are to:

◦Promote social inclusion
◦Improve quality of life
◦Influence the wider determinants of health
◦Develop lifelong learning opportunities
◦Provide a conduit for information.
