U3A is a national organisation for people no longer in full-time employment, but with an interest in keeping physically, mentally and socially active. Local groups provide education, and creative and leisure opportunities in a friendly environment. U3A membership is not related to a specific age but to a period in one's life (the third age). See the Links page for websites of Regional and National U3A.

Meetings take place on the 2nd Monday of every month at St Helens Church Hall, Crosby at 2pm (doors open 1.45pm) (apart from August). Meetings usually include a guest speaker, followed by tea and biscuits. You can find out about forthcoming meetings on the Events page.

Membership fee for Crosby U3A is currently £15.00 per year. It includes monthly meetings, tea and biscuits. Visitors (non members) are asked to pay a charge of £2.00 for attending a meeting. Visitors can attend up to 3 meetings before deciding whether or not to join. Our membership subscription covers an affiliation fee to National U3A, monthly meeting costs, but not group charges. Activity groups have to be self financing, in reality most meet in members' homes or the library, sharing any cost among themselves. If you wish to join or renew your membership, please contact the Membership Secretary,

You can also join Crosby U3A at one of the monthly meetings or at the weekly Coffee and Chat event at Crossroads Centre (by St. Luke's Church in Crosby) every Tuesday at 10:45am.
