The Brain Charity provides practical information and support to people with a neurological condition, their families and health and social care professionals. There is a comprehensive library with information on neurological conditions and related disability issues; an enquiry service, bi-monthly newsletter and website. The Employment and Community Support Service offers support and advice to people with neurological conditions on issues surrounding employment, work retention, retraining and alternatives to work. There is also a Welfare Benefit Service. The Brain Charity has an outreach service in Sefton. The Brain Charity also aims to raise awareness in the community at large and holds events and meetings throughout the year.
