Sefton CVS are hosting a Meet the Funder Event for Southport based Voluntary, Community and Faith groups. Grant are available as part of the Southport Recovery Programme to support VCF organisations for essential community building security work and community safety improvements.
Sefton CVS’s Group Development Officer Neil Gibson will be running the session, providing an overview of the fund, including a breakdown of the criteria and will be able to support groups with any questions.
Eligible Organisations
Voluntary and Community and Faith Sector Organisations including:
- Registered charities, including charitable incorporated organisations (CIO’s)
- Constituted organisations and non-registered charities
- Community interest companies (CIC’s) limited by guarantee and community benefit organisations (where there is a minimum of three unrelated directors)
- Faith based groups
Eligible organisations can apply for grants of up to £5,000 maximum (inclusive of VAT). In exceptional circumstance awards may exceed this amount.
The programme will fund essential building security or measures that improve community safety.
For grants that address building security applicants may be asked to have a building security survey completed to assess essential work required. If a technical assessment is requested we can arrange for it to be done by a partner organisation.
