Community First Network Event

Sefton CVS invite you to “VCF Sector and the Local Economy” a Community First network event to be held on Thursday 7 March, 10am -1pm at the Lake House, Crosby Coastal Park.

Our first Community First Networking event considers the sector’s contribution to the local economy and additional opportunities to connect and innovate as well as consider current key issues impacting on Sefton’s communities

Our guest speakers include;

• Stuart Barnes, Assistant Director of Place (Economic Place and Housing), Sefton Council – An introduction to the Local Inclusive Growth Strategy
• Charlie Winstanley, Head of Regional Economic Change, CLES  - VCF Sector and Community Wealth Building
• Racheal Jones, CEO, One Knowsley – VCF Sector as Innovators 

In the event we will be looking at the sector’s role as local employers, developing pathways to employment, improving life chances, social value and, as economic contributors, through investment and new initiatives. Followed by a networking lunch
