About the Trail
This project is a proud part of the Sefton at 50 "Hearts of Gold" Heritage Lottery Project. Created by our fantastic local volunteers, the trail highlights the special people, places, and events that make Sefton unique.
As you walk, keep an eye out for the beautifully crafted wooden hearts displayed along the route, created by local wood sculptor Simon Archer, features a unique QR code. Simply scan them with your smartphone for local history, archived stories, and further information about the points of interest you’ll see along the way.
